Maharashtra cabinet announced a grant of Rs 100 crore for the construction of the memorial of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Tuesday. For this memorial, the BMC will hand over the mayor Bangla to MMRDA on Wednesday. After this announcement, there is a possibility of a decline in the manipulation between the BJP and the Shiv Sena for many days. On Tuesday, just a day before the birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, the Cabinet of Maharashtra announced its donation amounting to Rs 100 crore giving approval to his memorial. The Government said that this monument will be constructed on behalf of MMRDA and the memorial will be named Balasaheb Thackeray National Monument. BJP expects that after this declaration there will be a reduction in the number of noses running between the two parties.

There was talk of taking approval for the construction of a memorial of Balasaheb Thackeray for a long time from the Shiv Sena. The party had already made it clear that the memorial will be built at the Mayor residence in Dadar's Shivaji Park. Now he has got all the approvals for this. However, there is no direct answer from the Shiv Sena on the coalition with BJP yet.
